Turn your language textbook into a bite-sized, game-like course
Upload the PDF of a textbook you own. LingoLearn reads it and builds a course on your phone: short lessons, listening, speaking, flashcards and an AI tutor. Your first unit is free.

From your book to a course in three steps
Upload a book you own
Pick the PDF of your textbook on your phone and say which language it teaches. Scanned books work too.
Check the map
The app reads your book and maps its chapters, level and language. You confirm or fix it, then choose your units, lesson size and daily goal.
Learn unit by unit
Your units appear on a winding path and the first one is ready to play. It is free. The rest of the book will be paid.
Everything a good course has, built from your own book
Exercises that keep changing
Each lesson mixes short exercises, so you read, hear, say and write the same words.
- Multiple choice
- Fill in the blank
- Matching pairs
- Word order
- True or false
- Listening
- Dictation
- Repeat after me
- Speaking
- Conversations with characters
- Writing with AI feedback
Native-sounding audio
Lines are read aloud in the language of your book. Replay them, slow them down, and choose the narrator's voice for your course.
An AI tutor that answers back
Write a sentence and get corrections and a rewrite. Speak and get feedback. Chat with the characters of your book. Press and hold a word to see what it means.
Flashcards and spaced review
Words from your units become flashcards that come back as you are about to forget them. Your mistakes collect in a Weak points tab to practise.
Streaks, XP and a daily goal
A streak, points for every lesson and the daily goal you set make it easy to come back tomorrow.
Characters and a look you choose
Every course has a small cast who talk to you in the lessons, and you pick the design and art style you like best.

- Portuguese
- Russian
- Turkish
- Arabic
- Japanese
- Korean
- Chinese
- English

Good to know
Lesson explanations are written in English for now. Explanations in your own language, starting with Farsi, are something we want to add.
Audio and exercises are made by AI and can contain mistakes. Every exercise has a way to report a problem.
Questions people ask
Is it allowed to turn my textbook into a course?
LingoLearn is for books you own. When you upload one, you confirm that you own it or may use your copy for your own study. The course is made for you alone: it stays private to your account and we do not share, sell or publish books or courses.
Do not upload books you do not own. Copyright rules differ between countries, and this is not legal advice.
How much does it cost?
Your first unit is free, so you can see how your own book turns out. Making the rest of a book will be paid. We have not set prices yet.
Which books work?
Language textbooks, grammar books and readers, as a PDF with real text or a scan. Very large files may be refused.
Who can see my book?
Only you. Your PDF and your course are private to your account. To build the course, pages and text are processed by AI services from Anthropic and Google, and we do not use your books to train models. You can delete a course or your account in the app.
Which phones, and when?
iPhone and Android. We do not have a launch date yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you when it opens.
Does it work offline?
Lessons you have downloaded play offline, and your progress syncs when you are back online. Making a course, the tutor and word lookups need the internet.
How do I leave the waitlist?
Write to hello@lingolearn.site and we will delete your address.
